To so many people, today is simply a Monday off. Day three in a three day weekend. But seriously, it is so much more than that. Memorial Day is a day where we pay honor and tribute to those men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our nation's freedom. Regardless of which branch of the military they served in, they are worthy of honor. It's very easy for people to sit at home and enjoy all the everyday comforts of life, and to forget men and women who are serving in our armed forces. There are too many men and women who have given their lives for freedom is staggering. They sacrificed their lives for a greater good. Today I thank all those who serve in our military. I thank those who have given their lives. And I pray for all the families who have a loved one serving today. May God bless you all and protect your loved ones.
