Very Sore Today...

Today yours truly is one hurting unit. On Thursday morning I failed to notice a patch of ice hidden under a thin layer of snow. As I stepped my feet immediately came out from underneath me. With a loud crash I ended up on ground. I don't think I scored very highly on grace or technique either :) Just as that ice was hiding under the snow, there are also many other things in our lives that are lurking and ready to try and take us down. 1 Peter 5:8 warns us, "Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." What's the solution to this? It all comes down to watching where you step and the paths you walk on. If you are careful of your steps, and walk on the path the Lord shows you, your feet won't slip. If I would have been a little more aware and alert to where my feet were stepping, maybe I wouldn't feel the way I feel today--very sore and banged up.
