Simplicity

Have you ever noticed how complex and complicated things can be? Or how complex things are made? Even in areas or places where it shouldn't be, complexity has become the norm. One of my favorite words is "simplicity". I love things being simple and not complex :) Webster simply defines simplicity as "the state of being simple, uncomplicated, or uncompounded." Uuummm :) Things being uncomplicated is beautiful music to my ears. Why do we make things so complicated? How do things that are so simple become so complex? I can't help but think of the Gospel when it comes to simplicity. Jesus Christ came and died on the cross so our sins would be forgiven and so that we could spend eternity with Him. Romans 10:10 tells us, For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved." Salvation and following Christ are very simple and yet some people seem to make it so complex. Don't allow your Christianity to become so complex that no-one else can follow it. Today, as you follow Christ, let others see how simple it is :)
