I Love Engagements and Weddings...

I absolutely love weddings! Well, let me be a little more specific. I not only love attending weddings but even more than that, I love it when people get married. There's just something about a man and a woman taking the plunge. I love it! I love it! I love it! Proverbs 18:22 even tells us, 'The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord." We have several couples presently engaged in our church and I'm so thrilled about the possibility of others. I love the excitement and the passion I see in couples when they're engaged and preparing to take the next step into marriage. It's as if they're floating on cloud nine. It takes me back to when my wife and I were engaged and the memories we still cherish from that season. For those couples who are engaged and those who might in the future, love the season. Don't let things overwhelm you. Cherish one another and make memories that you'll never forget :) And by the way, Brian and Kaci, Peter and Kari, I'm so proud of you and thrilled for you :) Enjoy your engagement and get ready for many wonderful years ahead :)
