You're Going to Use that as an Excuse?

As you know, I love to blog about people who succeed, and usually their success comes in the face of insurmountable odds. Deep down inside all of us there's a desire to root for the underdog and person who shouldn't be able to do something, and yet does. First grader Annie Clark is one of these such people. Being born without hands would cause many of us to see the limits in a person instead of the possibilities. To see what they couldn't do instead of what they could. Annie Clark recently won something that no one expected her to win--a major penmanship contest. She won a contest for excellence in her penmanship. You may ask yourself how someone without hands could win a penmanship contest? A person like Annie doesn't look at her limitations or disability. Instead she finds a way to accomplish her desires, regardless of what may lay on the path before her. Can you imagine if this is the attitude everyone had? To have can-do attitude that isn't going to let limitations stop you from doing anything. Even Jesus said in Mark 9:23, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." Today, don't let things, others or even yourself, prevent you doing what God has put in your heart. Just like Annie Clark, who by the way is a Christian, reach for your dreams :) Check out her story http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s49u89d7mrg
