Thinking About a Binky...
I am preparing myself for having a newborn in the home and thinking about some of the things I need to do to prepare. I was holding a baby this past week whose binky dropped onto the floor. I reached down, picked it up and was about to put it in my mouth to clean it, with the intent of then putting it back into the baby's mouth. Should I do that? Is it the right thing to do? Would the parent be OK with me doing it? It's been so funny thinking about things that I haven't thought about for almost 14 years. Carrying car seats, burping the baby, changing diapers and baby bottles, just to name a few. Hopefully after 14 years I can still remember what to do :) All of us from time to time go through seasons or situations where we have to learn or relearn something, and I'm no different :) I'm excited for the season of life I'm in and the changes a baby is going to bring to our home and family. When you go through a season of change, or something you maybe weren't quite expecting, your attitude can make a huge difference. Having an attitude of faith, trusting in God, is essential when you have to walk through your situation. Do you trust Him with your life, situation and stuff? Yes, things will take place, the question is how will your attitude be?
